一、
When I was a child, my homesick was a small stamp
Linking Mum at the other end and me this.
小時(shí)候，鄉(xiāng)愁是一枚小小的郵票，
我在這頭，母親在那頭。
When I grew up, I remained homesick, but it became a ticket.
By which I sailed to and from my bride at the other end.
長(zhǎng)大后，鄉(xiāng)愁是一張窄窄的船票，
我在這頭，新娘在那頭。
Then homesickness took the shape of the grave,
Mum inside of it and me outside.
后來(lái)啊!鄉(xiāng)愁是一方矮矮的墳?zāi)梗?/p>
我在外頭，母親在里頭。
Now I’m still homesick, but it is a narrow strait
Separating me on this side and the mainland on the other.
而現(xiàn)在，鄉(xiāng)愁是一灣淺淺的海峽，
我在這頭，大陸在那頭。

In my childhood,
Homesickness was a small stamp.
I was here.
And my mother was over there:
When I grew up,
Homesickness was a narrow ship-ticket.
I was here
And my bride was over there:
And then
Homesickness was a small tomb.
With me outside
And my mother inside:
But now,
Homesickness is a shallow strait.
I am on this side.
And the mainland is on the other side

When I was a child, Nostalgia seemed a small stamp:
"Here am I and there ……my mother."
Then I was a grown-up, Nostalgia became a traveling ticket:
"Here am I and there……my bride."
During the later years, Nostalgia turned to be a graveyard:
"Here am I and yonder……my mother."
And now at present, Nostalgia looms large to be a channel:
"Here am I and yonder……my Continent!"
賞析
1、作者把無(wú)形的鄉(xiāng)愁比喻化為四種事物,可見(jiàn)作者愁思之重.小時(shí)候，作者將鄉(xiāng)愁寄托在給家人的書(shū)信里'所以將鄉(xiāng)愁比喻為郵票;長(zhǎng)大后，作者和家人分居兩地，很難與家人相見(jiàn)，于是將鄉(xiāng)愁寄托在回家的船上，所以把鄉(xiāng)愁比喻為船票;后來(lái)，母親去世，作者與母親再也不能見(jiàn)面，于是作者就將鄉(xiāng)愁比喻為墳?zāi)?現(xiàn)在，由于人為的原因，海峽兩岸的同胞不能團(tuán)聚，作者將自己的鄉(xiāng)愁比喻為臺(tái)灣海峽，表達(dá)了他期盼祖國(guó)統(tǒng)一的強(qiáng)烈愿望。
