用法：

　　1、determine的基本意思是確定事物的界限或范圍,指經(jīng)調(diào)查或認(rèn)真思考后明確地判斷事物的真?zhèn)�、是�?或確定問題所涉及的范圍、性質(zhì)、內(nèi)容等,即“作出決定”或“使…決定”。凡是被決定的事而絕無疑問者大都用determine來表示。determine還含有決定后加以堅(jiān)持的含義。常用于法律或科技方面等。引申可作“限定; 制定”解。

　　2、determine還可表示對某事物產(chǎn)生決定性的“影響”或“決定”。

　　3、determine可用作不及物動詞,也可用作及物動詞。用作及物動詞時,可接名詞、代詞、動詞不定式(而不是動名詞)或表示命令、請求的從句作賓語,還可接以“to be+ n. ”或動詞不定式充當(dāng)補(bǔ)足語的復(fù)合賓語。

　　He has not yet fully determined.

　　他還沒有完全下定決心。

　　The lease determines next month.

　　租約下個月到期。

　　4、用作及物動詞

　　Who determines the overall production plan?

　　誰決定總的生產(chǎn)計(jì)劃?

　　Shall we determine a date for the meeting?

　　我們來決定一下會議的日期好嗎?

　　5、用作賓補(bǔ)動詞

　　Her encouragement determined me to carry on with the work.
