另外，表示“別忘了……,”“總之.”“畢竟”,這時的after all一般故在句首,用來提醒對方(聽話的人)似乎忘記了一個重要事實,忽略了某個重要的理由或論點。如：

　　after作介詞的用法：

　　1、after+名詞，作為介賓短語，

　　如：after having finished my homework。完成我的作業(yè)后。

　　I will go to bed after drinking the milk.

　　3、after+代詞，作為賓語的主語，
