1、among主要用于三者或三者以上，其賓語通常是表示籠統(tǒng)數(shù)量或具有復(fù)數(shù)意義的名詞或代詞。

　　2、among有時相當(dāng)于one of， 即“…當(dāng)中的一個”。among還可引出形容詞最高級的比較范圍，但須注意最高級形式出現(xiàn)在among之前或之后意義有所不同。

　　3、among只接復(fù)數(shù)名詞、表人集體名詞、復(fù)數(shù)意義的代詞

　　4、用作介詞，表示在...中；在...之間；處在...中

　　It's quite a pleasure to walk among the trees in the evening.

　　傍晚時分在林子里走走是很愜意的事。

　　He was sitting among a group of children, telling them a story.

　　他正坐在一群孩子中間講故事。

　　The modern office block sticks out like a sore thumb among the old buildings in the area.

　　那座現(xiàn)代的辦公大樓昂然地豎立在那片舊建筑物中十分扎眼。
