教材分析：本單元話題是神秘事件或現(xiàn)象，引發(fā)學(xué)生對(duì)一些神秘事件，例如，金字塔，雪人，巨石城，外星人等的興趣，然后聯(lián)系到課文中少年失蹤與外星人有關(guān)，讓學(xué)生有興趣去學(xué)習(xí)課文。
教學(xué)步驟：
Step 1：Lead-in
當(dāng)welcome to the unit作為Reading為熱身，并且從互聯(lián)網(wǎng)上下載一些有關(guān)的圖片，讓學(xué)生除了看教材以外還可以看多的圖片更好的去了解那些神秘的事件。
Step2:Fasting-reading
從分析標(biāo)題入手，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生思考文章內(nèi)容，快速閱讀教材回答3個(gè)問(wèn)題

Step3:Listening
快速閱讀重要了解了課文中的人物和事件，可以使在聽(tīng)力時(shí)讓學(xué)不不會(huì)感覺(jué)很吃力。

因?yàn)閷?duì)于高一的學(xué)生來(lái)說(shuō)，聽(tīng)一遍課文，然后對(duì)文章的主要內(nèi)容的掌握還有一些難度。所以必須仔細(xì)的閱讀，才能夠讀懂文章。問(wèn)了更好的理解，所以把文章分為3部分。
