一、說教材
1、 教材的地位和作用
本課是第八單元的第一課，主要圍繞如何給建議和意見展開討論，懂得談?wù)摵捅容^不同的東西和事物,1a的卡通畫先由學生討論物品的品質(zhì)開始，然后分類，1b.1c是以1a的卡通畫展開的聽和說的訓練。
2：教學目的:
教學大綱指出要從英語的學科的特點出發(fā)，激發(fā)培養(yǎng)學生的興趣，幫助學生樹立學習英語的信心，克服學習中產(chǎn)生的畏懼心理和困難，建立語感，掌握語言基本知識和技能。
(1).知識目標：
a. 掌握本課的單詞與詞組。
b. 掌握情態(tài)動詞should+動詞原形表達征求意見的用法： what should I get?
（2）能力目標
a.學會談?wù)摵捅容^不同的東西和事物。
c. 學會如何給別人提出建議和意見。
3.重難點
(1)本單元的主題對話是“What should I get ?How about a CD?No,that’s too expensive.”因此，情態(tài)動詞should+動詞原形，why don’t you…?/How about…/what about…./why not….?等句型結(jié)構(gòu)的知識理解和應(yīng)用，是本節(jié)課的重點。
(2)學生在使用why don’t you …?/How about…?/what about…?等句型結(jié)構(gòu)時，對否定性特殊疑問句的理解，How/what anout+名詞/動名詞的應(yīng)用，是學習中的難點。
二.說教法
1.圖片教學法
通過卡片，圖片復習單詞和認知實物。
2..情境教學法
通過生日導入新課，學會贈送禮物的句型。
3.聽說教學法
通過聽錄音，模仿對話來鞏固句型。加強聽說訓練。
通過Groupwork來加深給別人提建議或意見的表達能力。
4.任務(wù)教學法
通過Survey.Report 強化所學的知識。
三.說學法
遵循“教為主導，學為主體，練為主線”的教育思想，但教師又要因人而異，對不同能力水平的學生給予不同的要求，從而達到英語學習的目標 。
四.情感，態(tài)度與價值觀：
a.通過所學的句型和語法規(guī)則，熟練征詢建議和提出合理化建議。
b.準確地發(fā)表自己對某物，某事的建議的評估。
c.了解常見的節(jié)日禮物并能正確地評論，了解外國人送禮物的風俗習慣。
d.通過本課的學習，培養(yǎng)學生講文明.懂禮貌的好習慣，調(diào)動學生的學習積極性及學習興趣。
五.教學過程
Step1:
1. Make one-minute dialogue. Get some pairs to act out their own dialogue.
2. Revise the new words and phrases by cards.
Step2:
Task 1. What do you think of these gifts?
Show the target languages, using the objects:
--What's this?/What are these?
--It's a… /They're…
--What do you think of it/them?
--That's… /They're…
Step 3. Presentation
1. Point to the picture and say:
Tomorrow is my mother's birthday.
What should I get my mother for her birthday?
How about a dictionary?
No, that's too boring.
How about tennis balls?
NO, they're too cheap.
Why don't I get her a camera?
I think she'll like it.
2. Lead the Ss to drill the conversation.
3. Practice the dialogue in the whole class.
Step 4 Survey
Ss make a survey and fill in the blanks.
According to Mother's Day. Father's Day. Women's Day. Children's Day and Teacher's Day.
Step 5 listening
1. Listen to the tape and number the comments in order you hear .
2. Check the answers.
Step6:
1.Play a game.
2. Sum up the main knowledge.

(2) Make a survey. Exchange information and fill in the chart.(Page b2)
