1、think about 考慮；思考
【導學】① think about 作“思考，考慮”含義講時，相當于think of。
拓展：think of 除了作“思考，考慮”含義講外，還可以作“想到，想起”講，此時不能與think about 替換。例：
I can’t think of her name at that moment. 我一時想不起她的名字了。
② think over 意為“反復思考，慎重考慮”。例：
You’d better think things over and then make a final decision. 你最好慎重考慮這些事情，然后再做最后的定論。

2、In the countryside, the air is fresher, the sky is bluer, and there are also greener trees and clearer river. 在鄉(xiāng)村，空氣更清新，天更藍，并且還有更綠的樹和更清澈的河流。
【導學】句中的fresher, bluer, greener和 clearer是形容詞fresh, blue, green和 clear 的比較級。比較級用于兩者之間進行比較。如果是三者或三者以上的比較，則要用形容詞的最高級，如：freshest, bluest等。
3、go to… for one’s vacation 去……度假
【導學】for 表示目的。此處for one’s vacation 可以換成 to spend one’s vacation。當go 的后面接上here, there等副詞時，常省略介詞to。例：
I went there for my vacation. 我去那兒度的假。

【導學】the biggest of 意為“在……中最大”，是形容詞最高級的用法。三者或三者以上相比較，其形式通常是“the +最高級形式+in/of/among+比較范圍”，意為“某人（某物）在某范圍內(nèi)最……”。例：
He is the tallest of/among all the boys.

（一） 英語形容詞比較等級的構成
英語形容詞比較等級有三個：原級、比較級和最高級。
形容詞比較等級形式變化有規(guī)則和不規(guī)則的兩種。
（1） 規(guī)則變化
① 單音節(jié)形容詞末尾加-er（比較級），-est(最高級)。例：
great--greater-greatest
small-smaller-smallest
② 單音節(jié)詞如以-e結尾，只加-r（比較級），-st（最高級）。例：fine-finer-finest
wide-wider--widest
③ 以重讀閉音節(jié)結尾的形容詞如末尾只有一個輔音字母，須先雙寫這個輔音字母，再加-er(比較級)，-est(最高級)。例：
big-bigger-biggest
hot-hotter--hotest
④ 少數(shù)以-y, -er, -ow, -ble結尾的雙音節(jié)形容詞，末尾加-er(比較級)，-est(最高級)。以-y結尾的詞，如-y前是輔音字母，則變y為-i，再加-er和-est。例：
clever-cleverer-cleverest

（2） 不規(guī)則變化

（二） 形容詞各等級的用法
（1） 比較級：表示兩者之間，比……更……�？捎脿钫Zmuch, a little, even等修飾。例：
I think horses are stronger than cows.我認為馬比牛強壯。
He is much richer than I. 他比我富裕得多。
（2） 最高級：形容詞最高級前必須加the，副詞最高級前常省略the，后面多用of…，in…短語表示范圍。例：
He is the tallest of the three.
