考點小資料（復(fù)合句：形容詞、名詞、副詞從句）
I. “介詞+關(guān)系代詞”結(jié)構(gòu)的用法
i. “不定代詞或數(shù)詞或名詞+of which / whom”在定語從句中作主語。
ii. “介詞+whose”修飾后面的名詞作定語。
iii. “介詞+which+不定式”相當(dāng)于一個簡化了的定語從句。
iv. 注意“介詞+where” 引導(dǎo)的定語從句：有時在閱讀過程中我們會碰到“介詞+where”引導(dǎo)的定語從句，此時要和“介詞+which”引導(dǎo)的定語從句從意義上加以區(qū)別。如：They stood on the top of the building, from where they could see the whole city. ( from where相當(dāng)于from the top of the building，而不是from the building )
II. which / that的區(qū)別：當(dāng)先行詞指物時，許多情況下既可以用關(guān)系代詞which，也可以用關(guān)系代詞that。在下列情況下，只能使用關(guān)系代詞that：i. 當(dāng)先行詞是不定代詞all，much，little，something, everything, anything, nothing, none, the one時。如: Do you have anything that you want to say for yourself ? / You should hand in all that you have. ii. 當(dāng)先行詞前面有only，any，few，little，no，all，very等詞修飾時。如：This is the very book that I’ m looking for. / The only thing that we can do is to give you some money. iii. 當(dāng)先行詞是形容詞最高級時或它的前面有形容詞最高級修飾時。如： This is the best that has been wasted against pollution./This is the most interesting film that I’ve ever seen. iv. 當(dāng)先行詞是序數(shù)詞或它前有一個序數(shù)詞時，如：This train is the last that will go to Huangzhou. / What is the first American film that you have seen? v. 當(dāng)先行詞既有人又有物時，如：Do yon know the things and persons that they are talking about? vi. 當(dāng)主句的主語是疑問詞who或which時。如：Which is the bike that you lost? Who is the boy that won the gold medal? vii. 有兩個定語從句時，其中一個關(guān)系代詞已用which，另外一個空用that. 如：They secretly built up a small factory which produced things that could cause pollution.
III. 形式主語的四個主要句型
(1) It+be+名詞+that從句:
It is a pity that … “可惜的是”，用于此句型的名詞還有fact / shame / honor / question等。
(2) It+be+形容詞+that從句
It is certain that …“很肯定”，用于此句型的形容詞還有clear/better/natural/important/necessary。
(3) It+be+動詞的過去分詞+that從句
It is said that …“據(jù)說”，可用于此句型的過去分詞還有believed / known / reported等。
(4) It+不及物動詞+that從句
It seems that …“好像是……似乎……”可用于此句型的不及物動詞還有happen / appear等。
IV. 同位語從句：同位語從句通常由that引導(dǎo)，可用于同位語從句的名詞有 advice, demand, doubt, fact, hope, idea, information, message, news, order, problem, promise, question, request, suggestion, truth, wish, word 等。
V. 特殊的狀語從句連接詞：時間狀語從句通常由從屬連詞when，while，whenever，as，after，as soon as，till，until，since，once，before等引導(dǎo)。但下列兩類詞(組)也可作為連詞來引導(dǎo)時間狀語從句：the moment, the minute, the second, the next time, the first time, by the time, every(each) time, the day (year, month) 等； immediately，directly，instantly等。
